Tour by Sadie

We are ready for long naps! Our house is great and we love it! Closing was smooth and uneventful. I spent a good part of the beginning of the week on the phone taking care of our utilities and packing up the apartment. We closed on Wednesday and I enjoyed the big empty house for a day. On Thursday and Friday we started moving things over from the apartment. Saturday was the big move day. We rented the biggest truck available and almost made the move in one load. All of our household items have been in a storage unit the last few months and we had to move it all ourselves. Thank goodness for the Elder's Quorum! Chris and I had to load and unload the last of the storage unit by ourselves. We were literally running up and down the ramp to get the truck unloaded and back to the UHaul by 4pm. It was a little crazy. Thank goodness for friends in the church who watched our children and fed us on Sunday! We needed a day to recover from the weeks activities and now it is unpacking time. It is nice to have all of our belongings in one place.

We have made a little video of our house for those of you who are eager to see it (actually I think we are eager to show it to you!). It has been raining the past few days so we only did the inside for now. The kids are on spring break this week and have been great little helpers. We have a lot of work ahead of us as you can see. We'll post another video when the house is all in order. Enjoy!
