Umstead Hike

Our weekend started off with a nice bike ride on the American Tobacco Trail. We of course forgot the camera so no pics, but we want to give a big thanks to Cynthia for letting us use her bike trailer. We realize we should have bought one of these a while ago as it was great for toting Derek around. Sadie and Mason are such great riders. We went about 8 miles. On Saturday morning we started off with a nice hike with our cub scouts. Here are a few pictures of our family. We had a great time.
  
  

Valentine's Day

Here are some clips of our day together as a family. Hiking through the state park was the highlight. We had beautiful weather and the kids enjoyed exploring in the woods. Sadie marked the trees with rocks so that we wouldn't get lost. Mason found sticks to use as toys, or guns, for that matter.
