Back to school is here! Sadie has started middle school. She was a little bit apprehensive at first, but is getting the hang of things. Art and Band (she is playing the trumpet) are her 2 favorite classes so far.
Mason is in 4th grade and has his best friend in his class again this year. Hopefully best friends will stand the test of time...together. He is happy with his teacher.
Derek hasn't started school yet, but he has his meet the teacher tomorrow. He is so ready to be able to go to school like everyone else! We have been walking the older kids to the bus stop and he wishes so badly he could get on the bus.
This has nothing to do with school. My mom sent me some ALASKA carrots! They are sooooooo d.e.l.i.c.i.o.u.s and sweet! My mom is the best.
Here is one funny conversation my kids had in the car the other day. They were pretending to "smoke" their sucker sticks. Mason said, "I'm not going to smoke the smoker, I'm going to suck it." There was a pause and then Sadie says, "How can you smoke a person?"
