Anniversary in Hocking Hills

Surprisingly, Katie has found it in her heart to put up with me for all these years. She even surprised me with a weekend getaway in the fantastic and scenic area that is Hocking Hills, Ohio. This state park has many beautiful trails and caves to visit and explore. We also enjoyed some local entertainment with some barrel racing! Katie found a wonderful little cabin secluded in the woods but close to all the trail heads. It even had a private jacuzzi! And if all that wasn't enough, she even arranged to have 2 massage therapists visit the cabin in Saturday night to give us both massages! Wow - what a woman!

Here is Me at Ash Cave - it is huge though it looks small in this picture - It has great acoustics so it was used as a meeting place back in the 1800's.


Here are Katie and I at Cedar Falls. It was a very pretty walk down to and around the falls themselves. A nice older couple volunteered to take our picture.


This is Katie overlooking Old Man Cave - so named for a hermit that took up residence there for a long time. It was a very pretty area so we stopped to have a little lunch as well.
