Asparagus pesto

One of our most recent food experiments was making pesto out of asparagus. We spread it on our pizza with tomatoes and cheese on top. Can I just say delicious! It turned out great.

A friend of mine swears by this. I can't bring myself to buy them yet at $3.99/lb. Someday I will know the goodness.

Try it on a whole wheat pizza crust with some grilled chicken and onions, spinach, mozz. and feta cheese. Top it with some tomato slices. I think it would be fantastic!
