I can wait.

Derek has entered the 2 year old phase of life even though he still has 5 months remaining at "1" status. He's demanding, talking, running, clingy, etc. Yesterday alone he managed to get into the toilet more times than I want to count. He is very opinionated these days, but also a great little companion. Walking through our neighborhood looking at all the birds, throwing rocks in the creek, and exploring are his favorite activities these days. So when he gets my ipod and acts like he's 16 instead of 2, that's when I think, "I can wait".
 
I'd rather see him playing with toys like these for many years to come. I am really enjoying this stage of life and his little friendship. Love you Bubba.
