Happy Birthday Derek

OK-so even though half of the month is gone and I haven't posted pictures of Derek's birthday that doesn't mean we didn't party all weekend. I have to get these up as we have another birthday in a couple of days! Derek had a wonderful day! Here are the highlights:

-Derek's favorite friends came to celebrate: Sheryl, Jacklyn and Natalie
-Swimming at the pool for most of the day wore him out
-Jacklyn decorated a great cake for him to devour
-He received lots of great toys to bang, hide and get stolen by older siblings
-Our walk on Sunday was beautiful



We have spent the last couple of weeks at the pool for Sadie and Mason to take swimming classes. It has been a great end to our summer. Next week the kids go to day camp all day long for the week before returning to school the following Monday.

One great quote from Mason today: Mason received hockey skates from some neighbors and asked if we could go ice skating. I replied I didn't know where the ice rink was. He said, "You can just ask TomTOm!" To give him credit, I did find their elementary school yesterday using TomTom. I guess TomTom is becoming part of our vocabulary around here.
