Sadie and Mason have had many year end events at school. Sadie had a parade in which she was recognized for Good Judgement. Mason had beach day which fortunately was scheduled before this heat wave came. He was so cute. His class sang "Surfing USA" and then they changed into their swimsuits and had all kinds of water activities. My favorite was the water balls which the kids threw at each other. Mason really got into it. Sadie also had a little party with her class where they all performed a talent and read stories the kids had written.
There is a beading shop downtown that Sadie and I went to check out. She made a bracelet and a necklace. It was really fun and I know we'll go back again. She wanted to make so many things, it was hard for her to choose just one thing to make.
We are looking forward to being on a plane bound for Oregon and then Alaska in a week. It will be nice to cool off a little bit! We look forward to seeing many of you.
