We decided to go to Gatlinburg for the holidays where Chris' parents would meet us for a few days and our friends, the Baca's, would come and enjoy some of the week there with us. Two days after we made all our plans, our realtor called with an offer on our house! Talk about timing. We were excited for the house to sell, but then we had to decide how we were going to get everything accomplished. The buyers wanted to close on new years eve (never wait to put your house on the market, you never know who is looking) so we had to get to Maryland directly after our week in Tennessee. It all worked out great and we are glad to be back in NC. The kids were great travelers, even Derek, who I give an A+ for working out his sleeping and eating schedule to accomadate 10 hours in the truck.
It was fun trying to move this big floating ball around in downtown Gatlinburg.

Hi Cousins!
Thanks for dropping by! I try to have semi-regular updates but I go through a lot of spurts. Now that I have a greater audience it might prod me to keep the updates moving a little more frequently! :)
