Sadie turned the ripe old age of 7 today and was excited that Both her Grandma's got to celebrate it with her. Katie's Mom arrived early yesterday morning. It was actually supposed to be late Thursday evening, but after some delays and a lost bag we made it home from the Baltimore airport in time for a short snooze before breakfast.
Sadie wanted to spend the day at the aquarium in Baltimore, so that is what we did. It is a really nicely done aquarium with some amazing displays, including a dolphin show. I don't think I have been to a better one! Afterwards we went to the mall to go to a Build-a-bear store where Sadie had a coupon for a free stuffed animal. She knew exactly what she wanted when we got there too - a pretty brown horse she named Rosy.
We were all pretty wiped out after the long day - especially Katie who is still sore from the c-section. I think tomorrow will be for relaxin'
