Sadie goes to the dentist

It's probably long overdue but we finally took Sadie to see the dentist. Mason went a little earlier this month and was given a clean bill of health - Woo hoo. I went as well which is one of the signs that the end of the world is at hand. I haven't been to see a dentist that I can remember since I got married! I was fully expecting to be greated with a long list of what was wrong with my mouth - but to my utter amazement - the dentist pronounce me cavity-free! He even took extra x-rays to make sure there wasn't anything else sinister going on. I have to say this is the first time I think I have ever left a dentist office without an appointment for forther work. Sadie was a little nervous but the dentist was very kind and helped her to feel at home in the chair. She was also cavity-free and doing well. She is further along than most kids are at her age but the dentist said this was ok since the teeth were arriving in the correct sequence. We did have him put a sealer on her 6 year molars as a preventive measure. Sadie did very good during the procedure and got a nice sitcker for her bravery!
